- Product control Simply fill in the fields you require to build each product. Flexible options allow you to use as much or as little as required to create your product entry. Each product includes fields to clearly describe, display images and control aspects such as stock, variants and cross sell products. Once a product is saved it will automatically be placed under your selected category and structures to be search engine friendly. Alt tags, meta tags, heading formats etc are taken care of to be most suitable for your products to rank well in search engines.
- customisable admin product lists To affectively manage your products, the administration panels product listings are customisable. This means you can choose which fields you want to "quick edit" from a list rather than entering the details product edit page to make changes. Change 50 product prices at a time, or update all your product weights in one go. This feature will save you loads of time.
- Product duplication For quick inventory upload with similar items, just click a button and a product is duplicated (cloned). All details will be copied to the new product, just change it's title and update any changed information and you're done.
- Unlimited category and sub category structure Some shopping cart software only allows you to go one level deep for subcategories, Ashop Commerce is different. Our software allows unlimited main category creation with unlimited subcategories within each one.
You may also place any of your products under multiple main or subcategories. This will not impact on your product upload limit for the package you are on.
- Unlimited Brands Listing your products under a brand on your online store is important for reasons.
1. To help customers find products related directly to the brand they're looking for. Saves time and converts sales.
2. Listing a brand as a main title within your site assists search engine rankings for searches including that brand keyword, e.g. Nokia 6610 mobile phone.
You may also find the brands editor is perfect for price, size and theme grouping.
- Multilevel product variants & optional surcharges Create multiple variant groups e.g. size, colour and length for each product. You can also apply surcharges on the base price. An example might be a T-shirt which you want to offer in multiple sizes, colours and arm length. The largest T-shirt might cost an additional £5. This appears as a multiple drop down menu where the customer can easily select their product options. Additionally, this still only counts as a single product upload.
- Multi level text variant option Create multiple custom text variants for products. Allow single or multiple response lines and turn compulsory entry on or off. An example use of this feature might be when you are selling a personalized gift card. Now you can request the customer to fill in a field for their name and a field for their message as a compulsory entry before they can buy the product.
- Gift certificates Sell printable, redeemable gift certificate codes. Redeemed via a link in the checkout. For example, you may sell a £200 certificate to a customer, the recipient of this certificate can buy goods from your online store to the total value of £200. The customer will be required to pay the shipping as well as any additional charges above this value. It offers a one time redemption of the certificate.
- Discount coupons Offer redeemable discount coupons with expiry dates to customers. Create a custom code such as 'xyz' with a custom discount percentage and expiry date. Your customer can then redeem this during the final stage of the checkout. For example they might get 20% off an order totaling £100, the final value of £80 plus shipping will then display for payment. Use the same code for multiple customers and orders or set individual codes.
- Customer specific discounts Specify a percentage discount for each individual customer in your database. Simply login to that customers profile and enter the percentage their orders can be discounted. This value is removed before the shipping or other discounts are added back on. This will work in conjunction with B2B pricing and discount coupons if required.
- Digital goods delivery (product keys, passwords etc) Sell passwords, keys or any text code. This is generally used to sell digital items such as E-books, software access or game codes. If you are looking to sell downloadable goods then you will need to password protect the items first, then upload it to a custom page within your store. After your customer has purchased the password key you can direct them to the item on a download page, this can be either on your Ashop online store or another server hosting your goods.
- Product reviews editor Customers can now write a detailed review of your products. There are multiple generic questions, ratings and a description field to enter their personal thoughts. You have an options for either auto approval or approval only after reviewing.
- Bulk product import & export Upload, change or download product details in bulk. Save hours of your time. The bulk import / export feature allows you to bulk manage your products, customers, categories and brands lists. Unfortunately we are unable to provide bulk import for images, variants and stock control as this cannot be managed from a spreadsheet. If you plan to import products from another shopping cart, please ensure you paste them to a notepad before pasting to the spreadsheet to filter out any coding or formatting which our system cannot recognize.
- Featured products A quick checkbox can be ticked to instantly place any of your products as a feature on the home page of your online store. Additionally, category featured products can be placed above your category product listings.
- Related products A great cross selling tool. Relate specific products to each other, e.g. a tie for a shirt. When editing a product, simply select any other product from your listings for it to be displayed on your storefront on that products page.
- Quantity discounts Set custom discounts for a multiple purchase of a product. e.g. 3 to 5 of the same product sold attract a 10% discount, 6 to 10 of the same product sold attract a 20% discount and so on. The correct price for multiple products will be updated once added to the shopping cart basket.
- Stock control with level alerts (product and variant based control) There are four options to manage inventory stock.
1. Per product - simply enter stock levels for an item and as they are purchased, it will reduce in stock until sold out.
2. Per product variant - enter stock levels for each variant of a product, it will also reduce in stock until sold out.
3. Advanced orders - Allow unlimited orders with a notice that the item is on order and available soon.
4. Do not use stock control and all items will remain available.
Stock alerts emails can be sent automatically for custom alert levels.
